For many years I worked for large companies, and the things that I got most interest and satisfaction from were working with people - coaching and mentoring. Although I enjoyed my work, none of my jobs ever allowed me to do that all of the time.
After lots of reading and research I discovered Cognitive Hypnotherapy, NLP (Neuro-Linguistic Programming), and the Quest Institute (www.questinstitute.co.uk), which have enabled me to make many changes to improve my own quality of life and career.
I work full-time as a Cognitive Hypnotherapist - it's not just something that I do in my spare time. This means that I am able to keep fully up to speed with new information, techniques and advances in therapy. You can read my blog and articles I've written about Hypnotherapy and Coaching on the News / Articles page.
As a Cognitive Hypnotherapist I believe that everyone is an individual, so I will work with you to understand what you want to achieve from your hypnotherapy or coaching sessions, and to help you get there at the speed that is right for you. The first session that we have together is a full history take which enables me to understand how you are experiencing your problem – and how you want your life to be without your problem. This first session is very important as it allows us to agree your unique treatment plan. Also, I don't use any generic scripts as some hypnotherapists do but instead I write individual suggestion patterns tailored to you using your own words, feelings and emotions.
My practice is in Cheshunt, Hertfordshire and my offices are situated close to the A10 / M25. This makes them easily accessible for the areas of Cheshunt, Hertford, Ware, Harlow, Hoddesdon, Enfield, Potters Bar and North London. There is ample free parking available.
What do the abbreviations after my name mean:

HPD: Hypnotherapy Diploma – the first nationally accredited hypnotherapy qualification, awarded by the NCFE National Awarding Body (www.ncfe.org.uk).
I am also registered with the UK Confederation of Hypnotherapy Organisations (UKCHO), my registration number is 90290 and with the Complementary & Natural Healthcare Council (CNHC) which is Department of Health approved, my registration number is 000727-L10.
