Are you the sort of person who sets goals?   Maybe you think you aren't but then every year you set a New Year's resolution - that's just a type of goal.

This article in Fit Magazine suggests that we should be setting larger, more unreasonable goals.   Although the article refers specifically to fitness goals the suggestion could be applied to anything we want to achieve.   Is your goal to earn more money?   Why not change it to wanting to double your income?   Perhaps your goal is to get fit.   Could that become running in a 10k race or even a marathon?

Having that wonderful end result to think about and visualise can be a powerful motivator and visualising it during Hypnotherapy or Self Hypnosis can make it even stronger.

I believe that the key thing is to remember that no matter how big your goal is you can only achieve it one step at a time.   And those steps don't need to be big steps - some days you may only be able to manage a walk to the end of the street!

So why not set yourself a great big unreasonable goal today - just don't let yourself get overwhelmed by it.   Remember you only need to keep asking yourself "what is the next step that I need to take".
