Hypnotism Speeds Up Cancer Op Recovery |
| Posted on Jun 16 2011 |
According to an article in the Daily Mail Online hypnotising women who are undergoing breast cancer surgery can speed up their recovery – and also cut the risk of the disease returning.
The technique uses a combination of hypnosis and regular anaesthetics to put patients under and also has a positive impact on the speed at which patients can leave hospital and the general rating they give to their overall satisfaction after the operation.
These claims are supported by studies carried out in Brussels.
