Walking is good for us - body and mind!

I hope you have been enjoying the recent warm and sunny weather as much as I have.  I certainly wake up with a wonderful positive feeling whenever the sun is shining in the window.

But apparently, according to research, walking outside can have really positive effects no matter what the weather.

Of course, we all know that walking is a great way to get fit and to keep our bodies healthy – and now we can relax and enjoy the good it is doing to us mentally too.

In addition, not only are we getting all of these health benefits at the time, but people who walk outside rather than on a treadmill indoors are likely to be more committed to their fitness programme and to keep going in the long run.
