Stop Smoking with Cognitive Hypnotherapy

Congratulations on deciding to Stop Smoking.

You may have already tried before using patches, gum or will power alone.  These are all successful ways to stop smoking for some people, but if you tried them and started again you have probably recognised that there is more to stopping smoking than dealing with the nicotine cravings.

Hypnotherapy is widely acclaimed as an excellent way to stop smoking.  Research comparing many different studies of hypnotherapy has shown that on average smokers are over 5 times more likely to break the habit with hypnosis than with willpower alone.  Hypnotherapy for stopping smoking in general is also proven to be more than twice as effective as nicotine gum.

Why is it so successful?

Because as well as helping you with the cravings it also helps you to deal with the underlying emotional reasons why you choose to smoke, and why you might be worried about giving up, for example gaining weight.  It also helps you discover and utilise your own inner resources such as will power and motivation - no matter how deeply hidden you believe they are. 

By dealing with all these aspects you are more likely to stop smoking - and to remain a non-smoker forever.

If you have given up before, or if this is the first time you have tried to stop smoking, there is excellent news.  You were a non-smoker before you started - you have not smoked for all of your life. Your body and mind can remember this time and using Cognitive Hypnotherapy we can remind them of it and give you the tools to help you become a non-smoker again.

A Stop Smoking Session lasts for approximately 2 hours and includes a self hypnosis support CD.  Listening to this CD regularly, and using the techniques you will learn during your session, gives you everything you need to live a healthy non-smoking life.
 
Occasionally people decide they need a follow up session too.  Perhaps there is a big social occasion looming where you feel you might need a bit of a boost, or there is a stressful time at work.  Whatever the reason, the price you pay also includes a free follow up session - should you need it.  You can use this session up to 6 months after your initial session.

If you prefer then you can even start with a free 20 minute consultation.  This will give you a chance to meet me and ask any questions you might have about Cognitive Hypnotherapy and the way that I work.  If at the end of this consultation you decide that it's not for you then you can just leave and pay absolutely nothing.
