Depression is a dreadful feeling that affects many of us at some stage in our lives. Sometimes we are able to continue working and functioning whilst we are struggling to cope, and at other times we cannot face the thought of leaving the house or even getting out of bed.
Being depressed can also lead to other problems such as a lack of appetite, problems sleeping, anxiety and panic attacks. And in turn it can also affect those close to us – our family and friends – as they become more and more concerned about us but feel completely helpless.
I know that I can help you. Hypnosis is a powerful way to help yourself through your low mood and out into a brighter, happier place – sooner than you once thought was possible.
How can I help you?
I have suffered from anxiety and depression myself in the past, and I remember well that overwhelming feeling of not being able to face the day ahead.
Cognitive Hypnotherapy is all about working with you as an individual. Together we will:
- deal with any negative events from your past;
- use guided visualisations to move your unconscious to a happier and more positive experience;
- discover self-hypnosis;
- experience deep relaxation;
- use individually prepared suggestions to help you relax and to lift your mood.
If you are suffering from depression, and haven’t already done so I would urge you to speak to your GP. But if, in addition, you would like to find out more about hypnotherapy contact me for an initial conversation.
You can let go of depression:
Here’s what one of my previous clients said about our work together:
